If you are going to abandon the saab product line, do it for something more critical like the other guaranteed major failures: heater cores ( a pig to replace) ; automatic transmissions that die every couple of years; standards that shift like 40 yr old dump trucks; computer control modules that die at 3 times the rate of all other auto mfrs; annoying alarms sytems and door locks and lets not forget their appetite for batteries. I have purchased more batteries for my current saab that all 5 of my previous Chevys, GM and Chryslers put together ( God bless warranties) . Power antenna...that was one of the first things I threw away,......what else have I forgotten?? <davehinznopsamcop.net> wrote in message news:bei2n5$5fh10$1nopsam34476.news.dfncis.de... > Someone who looks an awful lot like dguy <nospamnopsamcks.com> wrote: > > > "David Wilson" <david.wilsonnopsame.pipex.com> wrote in message > > news:3f0c5aaf$0$18486$cc9e4d1fnopsam.dial.pipex.com... > >> Help! > >> > >> I have a 9-3 with the wider trip computer/radio display above the radio > >> block, and it's started losing the odd column of pixels - > > > This problem has plagued the flaky Saabs for years.
