I wanted to replace the Michelin Pilots that came as OEM on my 2000 9-3 SE. After a bit of research it came down to Pirellis or Kumho ECSTA Supras. I chose the latter, as my experience with Pirellis was that they're longer lasting, but have a tendency to get very noisy, very quickly. As I was able to get the Kumhos at a remarkable discount, I figured the lessened life of them would be made up by the discounted price. I have been very pleased indeed with their performance in the dry and wet, and they are indeed remarkably quiet; all three an improvement over the original Pilots, in my opinion. > <mimnopsamampls.com.au> wrote in message > news:fjaphv8ag8vldulnjhou8lh2t5j0onchh2nopsamcom... > > I have to change the tyres on a saab 9-3 soft top - in > > Melbourne Australia.
