While it's possible it's the bushes, it's far more likely to be the balljoints - this is the most common cause of loose suspension on C900s. It can be deceiving, because if you jack up the car and grab a wheel, it'll feel firm. The only way to test them is by unloading the suspension, by placing a spacer between the upper wishbone and the panel below it. Then you can feel for balljoint play. They're about £23 each (x4), and don't take long to do. -- Grunff
