I wrote for the website for Speedvision. When I started, Sporting News had the contract to do it. Then it went to Racer magazine and they didn't do much dirt. The Speed channel has been revamping a lot of things. They still have some dirt track racing on "Dirty Thursday" and are tape-delay broadcasting some of the Xtreme Racing series shows (the series formerly known as Hav-A-Tampa/UDTRA). Mike Swims, who owned the series for years, sold it in January to Doug Bland, a former track promoter/NASCAR PR type.
