Perhaps if you send the computers and keys to the factory. Probably cheaper to buy a new kit. > What year did this "must have one remote" system come into use? It is like this on all 9-3 and all 9-5. I don't know about the NG900. Things to know: * The shape of the traditional key can be recreated knowing the VIN. * Each key transponder has an unique id. * Each remote control has an unique id. * The keys/remotes are not programmed, it is the car that is programmed to accept the keys/remotes. * All keys/remotes has to be present when new keys/remotes are added to the accepted keys/remotes. This prevents someone else to add keys/remotes to your car. * The number of keys (transponders) and remotes are shown on the SID if the boot/trunk button is pressed with ignition on. * Reprogram the car if a key is lost. This will prevent the lost key from operating the car. Get a new key as soon as possible. When the last key is lost you have to buy a new computer and new keys/remotes. Expensive. * Don't blame Saab for this, blame the worthless car stealing trash. -- G–ran Larsson http://www.nospam.com/saab/
