I was surprised at how poorly BMW's fare... until a friend of mine told me about his Z-3, unfortunately built in the USA. It's not been good. I don't know if the imports are better since I never really considered one due to the "status" issue (i.e. if i hear one more Muffy say to Biff "honey, get the Bimmer, we have to go home". I swear that these people leave the party early just so they can say "bimmer" a few times. ) Bob
