Dont know if the following helps - '00 9-3 Diesel showed this problem - light came on when accelerating, car went into "crawl home" mode with reduced power until reset by turning off ignition for 2 mins - various repairs tried but eventually fixed by dealer replacing catalytic convertor under warranty - hope its not a similar problem as the cat is expensive! Interestingly the main dealer took 4 attempts at repairing - so much for computerised fault finding.
