Subject: does modyfing the crankcase ventilation system do any harm?

Hi, im wondering if removing the crankcase ventilation hose on top of the engine of my 9000T that goes to the intake manifold and to the air intake tube and plugging the ends does any harm to the engine. thought the engine would burn better and not get this oily smoke inside again and i also wouldnt have to clean the throttle body so often. also where does the other big hose that goes from the same plug in the intake manifold go to (somewhere to the wheel arch, but cant follow it to the end. bye simon
