Subject: GPS and a 9-5 opinions needed.

I'm one of those drivers who likes to know where he's going. I've got a 2000 9-5 and a Garmin Streetpilot (both used<grin>). I'm looking for a graceful place to put the streetpilot (horizontal display, about 6 inches by 2 1/2 inches (18 cm by 6.5 cm, roughly) in size. Drivers side on the dash near the left support column can obscure that part of the road, although it's possible that I can move it further towards me and to the left a bit more, so it's more in front of the column. Saab has made such economical use of the dashboard space that I have a few difficulties with the location. On the other hand, I have a mount for it that is absolutely no damage to the dash at all, involves a radar detector mount and some lucite plastic.... Not that it came with this, though. Opinions needed... If you were to install such a device (www.garmin.com if you're interested, streetpilot III seems to be latest, iirc, but this is not color, is just amber LCD backlit), where would you put it in the car? Harvey
