i have a 1989 9000 CD automatic that has developed quite a vibration while idling. it only has the vibration when the car is in gear and not when it is in park or neutral. the vibration stops when i let up on the brake. it is intermittent and seems to happen more often in hot weather. the car idles fine-rpm 850-1000 and do not fluctuate with the vibration. i'm wondering if i need new motor mounts. any input appreciated. brakes were just checked and are functioning fine.
