What? I this still going on? This thread has generated so much traffic about so little content. We've all replied and said our piece. We've all replied and said very little. Many of us have replied to a peace-making thread about which tyres we prefer to run. In fact, so many of us are just dying to say, "So what, Milt? Get some new tyres.". Many more of us are dying to say, "So what? Saab don't build 'em like they used to and we who drive the old ones don't really care.". There - it's out. Can we drop it now? Fellow Saabers, we're here because we have a common interest in our Saab motors. Let us not forget that. Motors ... Not tyres. Remember, new Saabs are just old Saabs that have not had enough time on the track yet - if their tyres blow, well big deal :) Milt, in all seriousness, I really do hope you get some satisfaction from your crusade. <--- I've deleted that word so many times and tried to think of another. You replied to one of my messages about what exactly makes a Honda or Toyota so much more attractive than a Saab and I just thought, you're just describing a Saab. I don't want to argue about that though. Here in the UK, we have a Toyota Celica. It's a sporty Toyota and probably very similar to the Saab 9-3 (coupe, maybe) in terms of driving style. Check it out. We also have the old Civics, which are a blast to drive. I still can't see how the new Corollas or Civics are in any way a comparative car to the Saab 9-3, but ... G'night all, Paul ^---Still not smoking, still not loving speed cameras, still loving the Saab.
