Regarding the tool to relieve the load on the ball joints, I wasn`t trying to say the garage who did your work were not doing their job properly, Using the correct tool on older vehicles can cause the metal underneath to fracture and indeed has happened to me a few times. I was trying to say that I have access to the tool if someone wants one for their own use. A case in point of me not engaging brain before pressing keys, and too much stella at the weekend
