You have to be careful with the turbo automatics. Depending on the year, the transmissions could not handle the power without a replacement at 100K miles or sooner. That is why many of the older Saab and Volvo turbos still on the road are the manual transmission models. I have a 900S 16 valve NA and a 900 SPG Turbo :-), both manual transmissions. I previously owned a 900 8 valve. Decisions, decisions - which Saab to drive today. The 900S is perfect for snow cover roads and rougher back roads where the lower ground clearance of the SPG is an issue. But, when the roads are dry, smooth, twisty and there is little traffic, nothing beats being able to use the turbo boost through the turns :-) David Spear wrote: > Ah, but I have a 900 turbo 8-valve, not a 9000!
