This may, of course, be tosh. Otherwise, I'd expect it to be cowhide: you get bigger skins than you do from pigs, which should simplify cutting upholstery sections; and you will not be the only buyer of upper- crust cars who is leery of pigs -- how many Saabs sell to Muslims for example? BTW, is pig still considered unclean in some religions even if it is not being eaten? It's not as if the human backside epitomises cleanliness. ;-) -- Andrew Stephenson
