Right. There's a guy on the aircooled-VW group who turns out to be one of the top vendors of classic VW stuff, but I didn't know it for months. People kept saying "I bought it from John", and also there was a very active guy named John giving out consistantly reliable good advice. After a bit, I put the two together and realized he's the John people keep buying stuff from. > Is you post your own wheels for sale, mayybe that is a bit close to > the dividing line but if it is person to person, I can live with that. "Hey, I've got a rear shelf for a classic-900, in good shape, in the Milwaukee area. Anyone interested?" <---- good "Hi, I sell whatzits for 12 brands, and I'm going to use an enthusiasts forum for free advertising space." <---- bad > But if you post your own COMMERCIAL addess: an URL, A phone number or > a mailing address....IT DOES NOT BELONG HERE. Yup. Most ISPs will whack a usenet spammer's account as well; fair warning and all that... Dave Hinz
