If the coolant wasn't dripping out, and and the smoke didn't start until the last day, it has probably gone into the oil. Have the head checked to make sure it is still flat, get it skimmed if needed. Gte a new gasket on, and probabley several changes of oil and filter to check if there is any water in there. You could also look the end of the dipstick and see if the oil looks like mayo or choccy milkshake. That is a sign that the gasket blwe between the oil and water ways. Did the car overheat? Ifnot you might get away with skimming, but getting it checked for flatness would still be a good thing. -- The poster formerly known as Skodapilot. http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
