I did > not try the match test, at least not yet ... :) You could also try finding a spot where you could gain accesss to the back of the material, like at the bottom edge of the seat covers. Leather will have a suede like inner surface and Pleather (or Leatherette, vinyl what have you) will have a textile inner surface. -Fred W
