Definitely no additives. As far as oil goes, I've had great results with RedLine MTL and Honda MTF. The latter is somewhat cheaper and more readily available. I would flush with the new lubricant, the fill with the new lubricant. I wouldn't leave gear oil in there. -- Grunff
