First idea: unwise. Second idea: any particular engine, year, and model? The engine management systems in the last decade or so are far, far more sophisticated than getting more power from 'pressing a button'. There are a large number of performance add-ons specifically made for your particular model of Saab; anything homebrew is likely to underperform and/or endanger your engine. Dave Hinz
