Here's the last thread I'm aware of, relating to it. http://nospam.com/?J17A25DE7 Basically, the lamp failure warning system can sometimes come over all insecure and actually cause a lamp to fail just so it can warn you, thereby justifying it's own existence. The good news is you probably only need a soldering iron to fix it. Colin.
