Hi Dex,

I've not come across anything in the way of upgrades in that area. 
Needless to say a new chain, guides + tensioner should be on the list.

AFA the crank is concerned I'm pretty sure it's the same. Not done this 
myself on a 9k (have done on a C900), but have seen plenty stripped down 
ones.
