It depends on what you really mean. The tranny was originally designed for a <100hp vehicle and it will work well, if not abused, with 165hp for 200kmi+. You do need to change the fluid on occasion. There is a 4sp tranny available which has a reputation of being more sturdy. Some say bulletproof, but I kind of doubt that. Abuse will destroy any of these. What year tranny have you destroyed? The 89+ is better. I am very partial to the '91 model year. A friend has an '86 C900T with about 275kmi on the original tranny and it still works fine...
