Just a quick question i was hoping the group might be able to help with. Recently when i have started to lower the hood the glass has raised, but a grinding noise (like the cogs grinding against one another) has come as the plastic lid has tried to raise. Eventually it raises and the hood folds but the noise doesn't sound healthy. Anyone have any ideas... is it just as simple as using a little WD-40 . I had a quick look at the motor and apart from looking a little grotty it seemed fine.. does it just need a clean.? Thanks in advance Regards A
