Hi all, I think I have a very serious sunroof problem: I have a 1991 900S with a power sunroof. Today the roof got stuck about an inch open. The motor seems to be working but the roof doesn't move at all. The motor seems to be intact so I guess this means that the cable(s) are broken (also, I've tied manually cranking the motor but it doesn't work any better)? That would be an awful repair, so I'm hoping someone has another suggestion on what it could be. Two specific questions: 1) Why are there two cables running to the roof? I would guess that each pulls on one side of the sunroof. But if this were the case it would be unlikely for both to fail at the same time and I would think that the roof would move (especially if it was also being manually pushed on) if one was still intact. 2) My Bently manual gives instructions for removing the sunroof that start with 1. open sunroof and remove front screws. My roof is mostly closed and won't budge, so this is a serious issue. There must be some way to resolve this, though. 3) Any ideas are all that will at least get the damn roof shut all the way. Thanks a lot. Desparatelty, mark
