Subject: c900 windshield washer: mystery deepens

Hi all, I posted a few days ago that my windshield wipers/washer had started running constantly, and were only stopped when I pulled the headlamp wiper fuse (#8; the car is a 1992). I have now noted that the wipers still work normally, including the intermittent function, and that the windshield washer works normally (except without the headlight wipers moving, due to removed fuse). So now I think we can officially exonorate the wiper switch in this case. According to the wiring diagram, the headlight wipers are controlled by the intermittent relay. But as mentioned above, the intermittent wiper function and windshield washing/spraying work normally. Is the intermittent relay likely to be the problem here? If any of you have some clue, please reply. Thanks, John
