Subject: smokey the bandit

I am getting alittle fustrated I own a 900 T16 '87 and have jsut had the new reconned turbo off for the suppliers to look at. It has been smoking when I have been coming off the accelerator. I thought it could have been a seal going ( the turbo has only done 3K!). the turbo suppliers took it apart and said it wasn't the unit but oil was coming in on the intake side and not the exhaust side. and he suggested it could be due to too high a pressure pushing oil from the cover breather into the intake pipe. I have reinstalled the turbo and fixed a hole in the rubber air pipe that connects the cover to the air intake. After reconnecting every thing I got a rough sounding engine which stalls and smoke everywhere. Oil seems to be coming from another bit of the engine I dont understand (sorry folks for the lay man mechanic) the exhaust manifold has a pipe coming from it and it has a protective spring like cover which connects to a thingy under the inlet manifold. The oil is coming from the connection of this pipe and the exhaust manifold. Could anyone please shed some light on to this mess I'm in. Thanks in advance
