thanks or awesome information "ma_twain" and others. So timing belt on GM V6 version and 4 cyl. use timing chain but with fragile tensioner if oil replacement interval is not respected. I am thinking more about 4 cyl with turbo. 9-3 replacement is a better car than 900 series? I have been told that automatic transmission is not reliable and standard transmission is a prefer option. However, there is something call "top unit" (relate to transmission ) that use series of electric motor on 1996 model. What are those motors for? Also, what is the DI cassette? Thanks again for the information.
