I could agree more with all the statements above - what a hell it would be ive finally found a marque I really like I used to have a porker better performance but NOWHERE near as reliable. and loads more expensive on the olde insurance. Its a very small compromise that I'm happy with. (on my 2nd 9000 now) My Lexus comment was more about the other type of options open at reasonable cost, not necessarily the make itself which is good but soooo boring. I get to drive a fair few "hire cars" for work so far nothing impressed yet -all bland, plasticie, boring crap basically. Carl I total agree, the old Celica was a FUN "drivers car" my brother had one, we had loads fun in it good tyres stuck to the road like the preverbal .. to-a-blanket - trade it for a S40 ("business image" job) - oh dear. even he hates it. I suppose we could start another thread "what would you drive if saab was no more" - - - No no no that's just too depressing. Chris.
