In the 900, if I was to nail it on second on a damp road, it would take off slow, then spin the wheels at 40 and tramp arround like a pig. In the Celica, it just says "Whatever" and accelerates. No kick, just rapidly increasing acceleration just before you change gear. However, with the higher redline (7k instead 5.5-6) and the smaller CT26 turbo (just 0.5bar as standard), you can actually keep in boost with a good change instead of dropping out with everyshift.
