Nothing could replace SAAB totally to me.... although I don't really follow the logic of not buying a new 9-5 now, because of future manufacturing site changes. I want to know what they are doing engineering wise. If it's more 9-3's and 9-5's great but if it's more like the 9-2 and 9-7's the brand is doomed. Although it's not going to just up and disappear. >>>At the risk of being heavily flamed: I've had the opportunity to drive a >>>few BMWs, and they're really not bad cars. The 325xi (or 328) would be a serious contender to replace my c900 >>>if I were limited in my selection to non-Saabs. >>> John > The only way you'll ever catch me in a beemer is if my wife decides to take > the piss and hires a beemer hearse for my last journey. LOL! You have a way with words here... Car&Driver had a column how front wheel drive is on it's way out because of increasing horsepower. That's one thing that I'd really miss in going to a BMW. Pushing 4wheel drive around all the time seems pretty wasteful are there FWD Audi's anymore? Well, I'll just have to keep buying older SAABs -meld
