Also beware anyone who just tops it up, aircon relies on the right amount of gas in it to work properly, and anyone just topping up will not know how much gas is already in there.Make sure you have the whole system properly vacuum tested, make sure the valves are checked over, make sure the system is properly checked for leaks. Also make sure all of the electronics are working correctly such has shut off valves and pressure switches, Then have all the old "gas" evacuated fully, then regassed fully using the correct wieght of R134, make sure you get the compressor lubricated, and also make sure they test the pressure head too and ensure the fans cut in and out at the right time. You should be able to get all that done for around £100 inc VAT.
