No starter key on the floor. But otherwise the same Saab 'cockpit' driver environment. The car feels rock stable and hence very relaxed to drive on the motorway. I also like the styling better than the 900. The engine in my 1993 CSE 2.0 LPT 108,000 miles is still very good. always starts promptly, no flat spots, lags or hesitation. Only recent problem is the drivebelt. The belt has been renewed quite recently, but need tensioning. probably incorrectly tensioned by garage. This is difficult since I have to remove plastic shield in the front wing, but can't undo the nuts as they just rotate.
