Remove the door trim, remove the screws which hold the window glass to the regulator, remove the bolts which hold the regulator assembly to the door, withdraw regulator assembly. It helps to have another pair of hands (or lots of gaffer tape) to hold the window glass in place. As far as recon motors, I've never needed one. The brushes are rarely very worn. What the motors need is a stripdown, cleanup and oil. -- Grunff
