I picked up my 900S from Roadholder Suspension at Kirrawee (Sydney) this afternoon. Cost for a complete replacement of outer CV-joint including labour was $375, and the car was at the shop for just two days. Now it runs sooo much better and we also found that the wheel nuts holding the Ronal wheel on the hub were bottoming out very very slightly so they were not holding the wheel fully tight. Dunno if that caused any running problems but it probably would not have helped. Greg from Roadholder put some extra washers under the nuts and now all is well. I'll add a bit of info to the CV joint web page later on tonight with the Roadholder contact info for anyone else in my part of Sydney who needs suspension/drivetrain/steering/exhaust work done. Roadholder specialises in doing work on classic cars and they do they're own rallying, etc. so from the initial engagement I'm quite impressed!
