if i was you i would get the cooling system flush cleaned and new coolant in it because my car was like that and after i did this it was all good i also just bypassed the switch all you need to do is cut the wires from the switch and get more wire to run it to the inside of the car to a switch and the aux fan switch is located on the top left side of the radiator( looking from inside the car) right in front of the intake pipe. look at this it might help you http://townsendimports.com/Web/cooling_system_folder/cooling_system_docs.htm
