Subject: SID's MPG Reading Frozen

Hi The SID on our '97 900 XS Talladega shows I'm doing 27.6mpg how ever hard or easy I drive. Whilst it doesn't bother me that it's not working as it used to, I'm a little concerned that it may show an underlying problem with the car's computer and/or electrics. Should I start to worry or learn to live with it? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. TIA Steve
