That's the crux of all the advice we could give. I'd still advise a late C900 or the pinnacle year of the T8 (1989 MY) for simplicity, but our man seems to have his heart set on a 9000. I don't blame him ... They're lovely cars. The electrical failures on the 9000s (well, any car with that many electrical systems) become more of a PITA than a cause of a breakdown.
