Past ventures mean nothing when it comes to building today's vehicles. The bigger question is whether the Trollhatten facility and its workers will be adequately prepared for dealing with the specific issues of manufacturing a convertible. I guess only time will tell. It seems like GM is setting a path for Trollhatten to produce specialty/niche vehicles, which I suppose is better than nothing for the workers there. - tex
