Well, I no longer believe it is the reverse light switch or the car has
2 of them :^)
I have sucessfully reassembled the engine and transmission. I tested
today if I have reverse lights with this switch disconnect and I do.
Maybe it is related to the shift up light. I will test some more and
ask more questions to see if I can find out.
