Subject: Bailey or Forge, Atmospheric or Recirc'?

Hi, as many of you know I have a 1987 C900 Aero. I think my Saab dump valve is playing up again. Considering a Bailey or Forge replacement. I personally love the Pfft sound of an atmospheric dump valve, but I accept that to many here it would be heresy to fit one. However, I need two opinions:- 1 Bailey or Forge motorsport. Anyone tried a Bailey valve? They do seem to be cheaper, but still look pretty solid, even if Forge is industry standard. 2 Atmos or Recirc? Forget the sound issue, I like it and (no offence intended here) I don't care whether you do or don't. The important thing is does an atmospheric reduce lag, as claimed by one trader at the SOC National. (I doubt it) Also bearing in mind I have an Air Mass Meter, (which some of you know to be a sore point!) will an atmospheric cause me problems? Read on nospam that it can cause stalling problems as the air measured by the AMM is lost to atmosphere. Your opinions and help as ever are always appreciated. Al
