Subject: Major Electical Issues 2000 9-3 Convertible

I have a 2000 9-3 Convertible. I stalled (manual transmission) the other day. I turned off the car and when I tried to restart it nothing happened. The car does not 'turn over'. When I put the key in the radio seems to start working and the antenna goes up. When I move the key to the 'On' (or further to start the car) everything goes out. No console lights, no SID, no radio, totally dark. Does this car even turn over if there isn't the required voltage at the starter? Could a batter just up and die like that? I had no power or starting issues prior to this in any way. Any ideas at all? Regards, Nicholas Lemberger
