I find that my 8V (non-turbo) Saab 900 engine gives better fuel-economy running on something like Optimax which is a nominal 98 RON fuel. The engine was originally specified to run on LRP which has a rating of 97. It runs fine on normal ULP (92 RON) but uses a lot of it.
