Anyone want a cheap winter project? £2300 no offers for anyone on here, otherwise I would advertise it for a lot more. Not long bought, but more than I can do to put right. Main body is very solid, but some rust arround the windscreen surround that will need sorting. Inside the sides of the bonnet are rusting but nothing coming through. Some rust on the back bottom edge of the boot. Needs a new soft top, leaks down the side of the rear quarters into the vinyl pouch that + has other patches. Drivers seat leather very worn on door edge side (lowest point patches with Gaffer). Electric seats work perfectly. Cruise doesn't work, but I know few that do. Fuel gauge sender bust and half fell into tank. Thats the bad shit I know of. 30+mpg commuting, 36+ on a good run. Very good stuff. Full complete aero kit, some scuffs but no cracks or missing bits. 212k on the clock, but reciepts from the last owner for shells and crank regrind, headgasket and skim. Recon turbo Secondhand low mileage geabox as the original was jumping out of reverse. new front engine mount. Reciepts for discs and pads within the last 2 years. Uses or loses no oil, doesn't overheat, makes normal full boost. This is an FPT not an LPT Roof mech and motor work perfectly. Sony radio cassette with changer interface that will take an MP3 changer. Philips pro speakers instead of the standard paper Philips. Never ever buy a dream, you will be disappointed. help me out here, missus wants blood, she though my last Toyota was a lot more sensible. Looks like a 9k LPT might be on the cards, would consider a swap for a very good nick 2.3 9k Anniversary or Aero (FPT or LPT). -- Carl Robson Car PC Build starts again. http://smallr.com/rz Homepage: http://www.bouncing-czechs.com Sorry to hear it Carl. As far as 9k's go I would recommend the 2.3FPT, esp. with the Auto. Yeah I know real drivers are only supposed to have manual, but I loved it. Knock it into D hit the loud pedal and wait for the missus to scream "you can't go that fast!!!!!" To which you answer "Oh yes I can!" Also nice on the M way when a beamer starts to tailgate, again just kick down with the right foot and watch his jaw drop as he disappears! I got rid of that one for the current C900 T16 Aero, no regrets. My missus currently runs a 2.0 LPT Anni' and it's a great car, but the handling on any 9000 is nothing like a C900 Aero IMHO. Good value to be had right now with 9k's. Good luck, hope it works out for you. Al
