And more than once, I got into the wrong side of the car after filling the petrol tank. Of course, you're obliged to do the "Oh, I meant to do that" thing, rummage around a bit, take something out, and then walk around as if it was intended all along. Took a couple weeks when I got back home, to get used to driving on the other side of the car & road again. I won't even talk about parallell parking on the wrong side of a one-way street, sitting on the wrong side of the car. I just left it there all day rather than move it to have to park it again. (on a side topic, any idea what the statute of limitations is on a municipal parking ticket from Liverpool? I'm, er, just curious...)
