If you are very lucky you can find paint manufacturer colour chip charts specifically for Saab's. I've got a few Dulux ones for classic 900's dating from about 1981 to 1986 but some of them don't include all the colour options for the particular build year. Not quite sure why, but they make a good reference for me to use when I get asked to see if a colour is original or not.
