Something also with the driveshafts being about 6 mm different in length (not sure if they were shorter or longer). The tripod-bearing and inner-CV change is detailed in my parts book... From VIN G2009923 and up, G3007066 and up, and G7011598 and up the later style inner CV, tripod bearing and from what I can make out, driveshafts, are used. Note that's the US printed parts manual for the classic 900's printed in 1996, so I don't know how those 'VIN' numbers correspond with the real VIN/chassis numbers that we (at least here in Oz) use to key the car into registration and insurance databases.
