OK, now somebody's found some real figures - yes, I'll cheerfully accept that the hatch was indeed selling more across the life of the 9k. I'm also surprised that the facelift hatch sold more per year than the pre-facelift. I suspect that's because it didn't have any real rivals left as an exec-class hatch. Sales in '97 were certainly way down on '96, but that may just have been that it was so ancient by then.
