Jack stand position
This picture is from the clutch replacement series, so the subframe is removed. It's not necessary to remove the subframe when replacing the motor mounts, but the subframe does have to be lowered and loosened, so put the jack stand under the standard Saab jack point, behind the suspension bracket. Spread the load by using a suitable platform (I used a piece of 3/4" plywood).
