I navigational rally once a month up here in Toronto. My navigator has been waiting for his WRX STi since they were announced last year. He picked it up 2 weeks ago...and yesterday was our first rally since then.
He didn't want to leave his brand new...less than 1000km...WRX STi in the parking lot there while we took my Saab on the rally. So...we took his car...and I drove.
What a FUN ride. While it didn't seem much faster on the highway than my 900T...off the line it was like a rocket. Just push you back in your seat and GO! Much like a cartoon superhero though it does what it does while showing off and attracting a LOT of attention...especially at a Rally Club event with many people who watch Suby's. I swear several times the hoodscoop even blocked the view of the road ahead going up hills. I do know that the big wing on the back drove me nuts.
Anyway...if the 9-2 is anywhere close to that fun it'll be a fun ride too!
