4 cylinder turbo drives well with great suspension and handling. Owned this car since 2001 with only a fender bender in 2001. Work from home, so car hasn't got very high mileage. Just took it for its annual smog test and for the first time it failed (P1444), so I am selling it "as is". Tires, engine and interior in relatively good condition. Main exterior issues are peeling clear coat paint, right window mechanism needs repair, dent on drivers door and windshield wiper fluid bottle leaks. Part of the rare AERO family of Saab's which has given me a lot of joy. Full synthetic oil changed every 5K.

Hello. Car is daily driven and has been in the process of being upgraded. Developed power steering leak which has been repaired ($1100) lower hose, (have new upper hose in box) with new crank seal, battery, subwoofer, fog lights, one headlight passenger( sourcing good driver side), 2 rear wheel hubs (nib), radiator(nib) 2 urethane body mounts(nib). Genuine Saab cat back exhaust, winter tires about 1 year old, new window rollers for driver side window(awaiting delivery). Car has along with driver side speaker, silicone vacuum hoses , upgraded boost valve, fender liner(nib), polyurethane trailing arm bushings, heavy duty front end links... synthetic oil changes every 3k miles….body is about a 7/10 with typical dog leg rust appearing on only driver rear fender, with a few dings…discovered final leak upfront not sure if oil pump seal, timing cover, or head gasket. Would be great candidate to continue but have other commitments at the moment, very good, fast roomy, comfortable wagon that can hang with any car on the road. Selling to Saab enthusiasts who know the value/potential of these cars. Thanks.

YS3EH49G543006525 - This is a beautifully preserved 9-5 Aero in Steel Grey Metallic with all the bells and whistles (see window sticker). It's super clean, with gogeous brown cream leather, and upgraded head unit. I bought it two years ago via this site and am now passing it on only because I found a real unicorn that I couldn't pass up - an '02 wagon with just 40,000 miles. I enjoy the Aero more but need the wagon and I can't keep 2 cars. It has 175,000 clicks but only 115,000 on the engine. Received a long block swap at 149K in June 2021 for $6000, by a master technician who also installed all new coolant hoses, spark plugs, ignition coils, water pump, 3-way manifold pipe and turbo pipe. Fresh oil, new air filter, new front tires, new exhaust, power steering hoses and pump replaced, both front tie rods replaced, new valve cover gasket, new pvc and vacuum lines, replaced DIC cassette, and new taillight/headlight bulbs. The interior is mint. Heated leather aero seats, moon roof, parking sensors in working condition. Cold AC. Very quick fun to drive car! I would love to see the car go to another Saab enthusiast. This is a 5-Speed manual Aero with charcoal interior. Never been in an accident and no rust, but because of the sun, the clear coat is shot. I bought the car with 98,600 miles on it in January 2014 and have used it as a fun weekend car/daily driver as needed. I have a few other SAAB's so that's why only 40K miles over the last 11 years. This is a non-smoker and the interior in great shape. The SID and climate control unit have good displays and the cup holder is good :). The ABS unit went out, and I sent it out for repair and they fixed the speedometer issue, but the warning lights are still on. It runs strong and is a lot of fun to drive. It was just smogged on 3/6. Original window sticker was $41,935.

n excellent condition. Carbon Gray with black leather interior. Incredibly well maintained with a detailed documented service history. I'm the 2nd owner. It is currently around 90,000 miles but will go up as it's my daily driver and gets driven about 20-30 miles per day. Clean Colorado title with no history of any accidents. No rust, no dents. It is by far one of the most well kept NG 9-5's out there. The exterior is a 9/10, the interior is a 10/10. Most recent services completed: Oil change 4/30/25 at 88789 miles, Royal Purple w/KN filter. Oil changed every 3500-4000 miles. 05/04/25: New OEM Ignition coils, 05/08/25: New rotors and pads front and back, 05/10/25: Transmission fluid drain and refill 3 times with OEM fluid. At 82237 miles: AC Delco Oil Pressure Sensor replaced and new serpentine belt. 82274 miles: Transfer Case Fluid change (liqui Mol 75w-90NS), Haldex Unit filter/Gasket/Fluid, Rear Diff fluid change (Redline 75w-90LS). 82383 miles: Power steering fluid change (liqui Moly 1800 Dexron VI) 10/13/24: GlafenSaab LED tail light fix, Hblom LED light bar fix, 3rd brake light fix. For sale is my 2010 Saab 9-5 Aero which I purchased in May of 2022. This 9-5 has been meticulously cared for by all 3 owners. Oil changes done every 5,000 miles with synthetic oil and only Top Tier 91 or 93 oct. gas used. Impeccable recent service history incl. spark plugs, coils, light bar, LED turn signals, new suspension, resprayed roof channels, full drivetrain service; all addressed on time and with OE parts. Tires, brakes, and alignment are all nearly new. I have receipts for all of the parts and work done to the vehicle. It has several modifications including a Vermont Tuning 'Stage 0' Tune, do88 air intake kit & intercooler piping kit, 4 piston Brembo brake upgrade (front), H&R lowering springs (front), & 50% ceramic tint on all windows, 70% ceramic on windshield. This is not a perfect example. There's fading paint on the roof, an oil and AC refrigerant leak, and a squeak from the front suspension. Please message me with any questions. Yearly oil changes with full synthetic (less than 5k mileage each year). Over past few years, replaced DI cassette, power steering and fuel pumps, belt and tensioner, Firestone Firehawk AS tires on Gary Fisher wheels, coolant and hoses, ATF, valve cover gasket, head bolts. *** PARTS CAR *** I've owned this wonderful Saab since Sept 2019 and it's been my daily driver ever since. I've owned many Saabs and this by far has been my favorite. Prior owner and myself are both in Charlotte NC and the car has been faithfully maintained at The Swedish Garage (SG) in Charlotte. Full maintenance records available. When I took ownership I had to put in a new timing chain and turbo. The odometer wasn't working due to an electrical surge when the battery was replaced by prior owner. SG pulled the mileage from the ECU and was approximately 125K. I'm estimating it's 150K-ish +/- now. I wasn't ever concerned about the actual mileage after that as my plan was to drive it and never sell it. It also has new rotors/brakes/tires (Falken) along with a host of other pro-active and age-related repairs all with OEM parts. I love this car dearly and thought I would drive it till the wheels fell off, but in my last service due to the check engine light being on, it was discovered that the timing chain is needing replacement again and that the turbo may also need replacement. That said, it breaks my heart, but I just can't justify doing those repairs again, especially with kids in college $$. Hoping that another Saab fanatic looking for a project car would love to take this Saab over, give it a good home and enjoy it for years to come. For me I'm back to driving my trusty 1997 900S which I'm the original owner of. There is some slight body damage to the rear driver side body panel (prior owner, see pics) along with some paint damage on trunk and roof due to crash wrap removing the top protective layer when I had to have the rear window replaced. Interior is in great condition and leather surfaces are IMO like new. The heated seats don't work, the A/C works great, all other items function properly. Again, if the timing chain (and possibly turbo) didn't need replacement, this would still be my daily driver. It's been on many road trips from NC to TN/CT/NY and has never failed. Owned since 2015 with over $12K in service records during my ownership including a full engine rebuild in 2020 at 123K miles. See full gallery for more pics and all service records. Running a Flex Fuel tune by Swede Fleet Tuning since 2019, adds about 30 hp and close to 100 ft/lbs of torque in the low to mid range when using E85. Amazing punch, no comparison to stock! Extremely clean, no pets or kids during my ownership, in fact I never even eat/drink in the car. Has leather wrapped door handles and the impossible to find extra aluminum trim around the shifter. Very solid mechanically, I would drive it anywhere. Only 3 flaws worth mentioning: first, cold starts sometimes yield in an uneven idle which disappears after about 1 minute and car runs buttery smooth thereafter. This has been going on since before the engine rebuild, mechanic couldn't find any vacuum leaks so I chose to live with it. Secondly, gas gauge reads full until about 1/2 tank, then works fine. Third, very small oil leak (couple of drops) for the past couple of years, might be oil pressure sensor but didn't bother chasing.

I've had this car since 2020, under my ownership it has been regularly serviced at Mitchell Saab in Simsbury, CT. The car runs and drives very well and the interior is in great shape. However, there's rust on the body and rear subframe (the exhaust is at the end of its life among other things) . In addition, I believe the thermostat is not working. I had bought the car knowing it was a bit rusty, but have been replacing items as they required attention. I have replaced the rear coil springs and supports as well as both rear control arms. Some highlights of the car: the drivers heated seat still works and the lightbar and taillights had the Stottler LED conversion done. In the last couple years I've had the serpentine belt, tensioner, idler pulley, front pads and rotors replaced. Engine recently had a tune-up and a new battery has been installed. Other items worth mentioning, the interior lights are not working, a minor engine oil leak was spotted at its last servicing and the car has an intermittent Shift to Park error. Title is free and clear, comes with 2 keys. Open to reasonable offers.

4 cylinder turbo charged engine. I helped a friend get the car last August. Prior owner had it serviced regularly at the dealership in Charlotte. The upper hose split causing overheating. Compression test showed the middle 2 cylinders are binding. The starter turns the engine over but slowly. Obviously, the engine needs replacing or rebuilding. The car has been sitting a month, needs detailing in and out but overall is in really good condition. The interior is pretty good. The driver's seat has some splits and the center armrest needs to be replaced. Back seat and rear area are really nice. The body is in excellent condition with only a small dent in the left rear fender. This can be popped out. Tires and wheels are in great shape. There has been a water issue around the sunroof and that will need some attending to. Not sure of the issue. CarFax was clean. Bottom line is, someone that knows the Saab brand and can work on one can probably get a pretty darn good car by fixing the engine.

Up for sale is my 2000 Saab 9-5 SE with the 3.0 turbo V6. Over the past year I have gone through and addressed all the common V6 issues and it's now ready for a new driver and home. The timing belt/water pump kit is new, oil cooler was replaced and the plate resealed along with all the related gaskets to get down to it. I also fitted four new yokahoma tires and all the fluids and filters have been changed along with the correct NGK resistor plugs. The exterior overall is c+ condition with paint chips on the hood and rear bumper. Front bumper has some damage on the bottom corner. Interior is decent and will be detailed before sale. Vin YS3EB59E743615456. Exterior Paint Silver code 268. Grey leather interior. As a long time Saab family, former mechanic, and service manager we purchased this Saab in Feb 2017 with 89K. Previous owner serviced car at The Saab Connection in Bloomfield NJ. Evident repairs by prior owner included a just Rebuilt Transmission, Sub-Frame bushings, and new motor mounts. Have detailed 6-page Maintenance log: During our 8 years & 87,000 miles of ownership I have personally done 90% of the service & repairs, Country Saab in Florida NY has done the rest. Under our ownership this smooth, responsive running Saab has received 21 Castrol Synthetic oil changes. Transmission has been serviced 6x using Mobil 3309 ATF. Brake fluid flush 3 x using ate dot four brake fluid, coolant drain and refill using concentrate antifreeze and distilled water 2x, power steering flushed 2x using Pentosin SR-22, Engine and transmission performance is exceptional for mileage and age. Transmission shifts are crisp, responsive & concise, no noticeable play in drivetrain. Uses no oil between oil changes. We were not planning on selling but an unexpected opportunity presented itself to purchase a 2006 low mileage original owner garage kept 2006 ARC Sport-Combi Wagon. Some of the Repairs under our ownership include: AC Condenser 5/2018, New Ansa Exhaust from cat back 3/2020. 10/2020 133K new front and right rear hub bearings, Front KYB Struts & strut bearings. 10/2021 148 K Rear Tail Gate struts, Direct Ignition cassette, New Battery, Air & Gas filters, 8/2022 all new exhaust hangers. 8/2023 166K new starter, Heat Control Valve & coolant flush. 2/2024 168K #4 NGK BCPR6E-11 spark plugs. 3/2024 169K #4 mint used 10 spoke 16" wheels and new 215/60/16 Kumho LX KU 27 2 ply side wall tires. 8/24 2025 new tensioner and serpentine belt. Will be installing new front & Rear rotors and pads prior to sale. Brake pads are currently at 50%. Since I had the parts on the shelf for the future will install now prior to sale. Car starts performs and handles exceptionally well for the miles. Minuses: AC compressor needs a new clutch assembly. Compressor is good. AC worked as it should, but clutch was starting to vibrate so I proactively installed a new serpentine belt eliminating the AC compressor last September. The system holds pressure and blows 55 degrees at the vents. New clutch assembly is $60.00 and can be installed without removing the compressor or evacuating the systems freon. Typical dog leg rust. Have put matching color duct tape over them. Happy to provide copy of detailed maintenance log and additional photos.
