Color: Snow Silver Metallic 309 Trans: Manual Mileage: 197,000 Price: $3500
I rescued this car in 2023 with a bad motor and painstakingly put it back on the road as a daily driver. It is not perfect and will either suit someone looking for a slightly ambitious project or, more to my chagrin, end up as a parts car. The car has 197k miles on the body and approximately 20k miles on the engine. The motor is a B235R that was rebuilt with Wössner pistons, balance shafts deleted, and solid bushings installed with GS bore covers, and it retains the stock TD04HL-15T turbocharger. It is a proper 5-speed manual conversion (it started life as an automatic, converted by MikeD). The exterior is Snow Silver (309) over obsidian black leather sport seats. It comes with two sets of wheels and tires: Nokian Hakkapeliittas for winter on '02 Aero rims, and Kumho Ecstas on 2007 Anniversary wheels that will need straightening and refinishing. The good news is that the heat and A/C both work, and the car cruises nicely on the highway. Recent repairs include subframe bushings, left front control arm and bushings, rear rose bushings, cabin air filter, cabin fan, cabin fan resistor, and the radiator. Upgrades and enhancements include a MikeD tune, DO88 intercooler, GS 3-inch downpipe, and a custom 2.5-inch exhaust with the resonator deleted and a sport muffler. Suspension and chassis upgrades include a Maptun upper strut brace and Bilstein B12 dampers with Eibach sport springs. Additional features include eSID, a Pioneer CarPlay/Android Auto head unit with preouts mapped to the Harman/Kardon amp for excellent sound quality, a factory accessory phone mount with wireless charging, GS short shifter, Maptun sport steering wheel, trailer hitch (wiring included but not connected), RKX (Forge-style) diverter valve, and a K&N intake on a GS mount with a filter sock. Now for the bad. The doglegs are rusty, as expected, and the rear quarter to rear bumper junctions are also starting to get crispy, though repair panels are available from RedAero. The engine consumes or leaks oil somewhere, with noticeable blow-by; it could be a PCV issue or something more serious. I will include a spare PCV kit. It does leave a puddle when parked, but only after shutdown. There is also a very slow coolant leak that I suspect is from the heater core, as there is an occasional whiff of Dex-Cool on some days. The car throws a P0420 code and an EVAP code related to the fuel tank, likely caused when the tank was reinstalled during a rushed level-sender repair. It needs a right front inner fender liner, and the charge warning light has been taking longer than normal to go out on startup, suggesting the alternator is nearing the end of its life. Beyond that, there are various minor annoyances consistent with a car of this age. Asking price is reflected in this listing, but everything is a negotiation. More pictures available upon request.

Color: Dark Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 170,000 Price: $1200
This car runs and drives well and has been regularly maintained. The engine and transmission are strong, it starts easily, and it has been a dependable car for me. Interior and mechanical condition are good for its age, and it still drives like a Saab should. I upgraded the radio which I will include I want to be fully transparent about its condition. The car has significant structural rust. Rust has penetrated the front subframe, and the rear subframe mounting points and rear floor/body area are soft. Because of this, it is not recommended as a long-term daily driver without major structural repair. The car is being sold as-is, priced accordingly, with no attempt to hide these issues. I can send pics. This Saab would be best suited for someone who knows these cars and is looking for a project, a parts vehicle, or short-term/local use with full awareness of its condition. If you're a Saab enthusiast, you know how solid the mechanicals can be even when the body has reached its limits. Happy to answer reasonable questions from serious buyers.

Parts car and junk yard parts cover most of the broken pieces Recently, exhaust Manifold developed a leak. This is the second time a factory gasket has failed with the Genuine Saab manifold, not sure why. Maybe the flange needs to be decked. The leak stops once it warms up. I bought this Sportcombi 13 years ago, with 136k miles on it, from an enthusiast in the Los Angels area.. they had an e30 track car for Willow Springs and this was their daily. It was stock when I picked it up, and rust free. I'd owned a couple hot hatches over the years, and the 800 mile drive home had me grinning the whole way. The car's been a daily and street parked for most of it's life. Cosmetically, it shows… including the damage to the driver side from a teenager turning into me. Body is rust free and solid, other then small paint chips on the hood that have some surface rust starting. I'd spray the underside with Fluid Film every fall, and wash the car off after every snow storm. The leather is in great shape, twice a year I'd treat it, aside from the afore mentioned driver-side stitching. The ECU has never been flashed/tuned. Plan was to pull the motor and trans from the parts car, to build a T5 hybrid with forged pistons and have the trans rebuilt with a quaif diff. Also, wanted to do the much needed cosmetic body work… But, I don't have the space or bandwidth for this right now. Or, a garage to keep it in. As it sits, the Areo still runs and punches way above its weight class. The Battery is getting weak with the cold weather. It hurts to list this loyal wagon, but the family needs a modern daily… and this car is more of a weekender/project rig at this point. I'm hoping a talented Saab enthusiasts can keep it rolling, and stay in contact. I'd definitely buy it back in the future. Asking $4k for this wagon, a matching sedan parts car, and a bunch of random trim/rubber. Any reasonable offer from an enthusiast will be considered. Video and extensive photos available.

Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 54,350 Price: $14,500
This rare Saab unicorn has been owned by same person for over 15 years and has spent its entire life in a garage. The second owner, a gentleman from New Jersey, had the car for two years before I bought it from him. The only thing the new owner should take care of is having the headlight levels professionally adjusted. Aside from that, there are no problems whatsoever. The front bumper had some damage underneath and on the sides from when the first owner, older lady, drove over parking lot stones. I bought a brand-new bumper, wrapped it in the same color, and had it installed. It looks fantastic now. Here is the other repair has been done on my ownership. Replaced front & rear brake pads and rotors Replaced oil & filter, Replaced oil trap hoses Replaced valve cover gasket Replaced transmission torque rod mount insert Secured front bumper assembly and installed lower splash guard Replaced brake booster vacuum hose and air intake vacuum hoses Replaced head lamp bulbs Replaced cabin air filter Replaced engine air filter Car has fantastic Carfax report with NO accidents and very high buyback value. 2 keys available for the car!

Color: Diamond Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 107,000 Price: $5799
Decided to sell my garage-kept 2011 SAAB 9-5ng, have my eyes on a SAAB convertible. Owned this baby for about four years…runs flawlessly. PROS: Very responsive Hirsch Performance Tuning…260HP/295 lb-ft Torque (Up from original 220 HP/258 lb-ft Torque), Relatively low miles for a 2011, Garmin Nuvi GPS built in. Technology package, Panoramic Moonroof, Harman Kardon Surround System. Saab Logo Floor Mats. Leather seats in excellent condition. All dash buttons fully legible. Heads up display. LED rear light bar works perfectly. CONS: Reconstructed Title. Previous owner stated, had no idea why….I personally have had no issues to indicate problem. Rear bumper dinged in parking lot, cracked taillight (My Saab mechanic has a replacement taillight for $500, if buyer desires replacement, I will do so at buyer's cost. Driver side front fender crinkled a bit around wheel well. Tire monitor warning light needs attention. A common issue with this model, warning comes on, stating engine oil low, which is not the case. I thought about making the repairs and list higher price, or reduce price and sell as is….decided on the latter…

Color: Dark Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 219,077 Price: $1,850 or Best Offer
I hate to part with this 2003 9-5 2.3T Aero sedan but we're still keeping a 9-3 in the family. It has the factory 250 hp High Output Turbocharged 4 cylinder engine and 5 speed manual transmission. This car has been my daily driver for 19 years now. Runs perfect, well maintained by independent SAAB mechanics always with synthetic oil. There's a lot of fun left in this car. 2 sets of 4 tires, all with 5/32 or better tread left, Summer: Pirelli P Zero Nero GT 225/45ZR17 on original factory rims, Winter: Michelin Michelin X-Ice 215/55R16 on black painted steel rims. Bought car at Mike Shaw Denver as Certified Pre-Owned in 2006. All miles in Colorado, mostly on highway. Clean Colorado title in hand with no accidents. Very clean interior. Exterior has some dings and scratches but no rust. The roof paint is aging to show through the primer now. Many more photos are available on request. Contact is best via email.

SOLD
Color: Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 166,000 Price: $1,900
This still-fun-to-drive, 166K m, manual 9-5 is looking for a new home. It's been well cared for over the 13 years we've had her but we need to let her go as we're also keeping a 9-3X on the road. She still runs well for a car her age! Problems she's having are the right front wheel is making a noise (mechanic said probably more than a wheel bearing), AC needs fixing, and body has some little dents from falling acorns. Rear seats could use a re-dye. Fresh tires and brakes, and valid inspection certificate. Hoping to find an enthusiast to keep her going, or at least to make use of her good parts. Please Contact Via Email Address.

SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 143,000 Price: $3500 or Best Offer
A very clean (California car until 2013) second owner. Very well cared for. Trans flush at 100k new exhaust, alternator, belt and idlers. Runs strong and is a great ride. Dark grey leather heated seats in excellent condition ( see pic). No dents, scrapes or rust. Rust beginning to show in left dogleg. A/C not working. Minor oil leak. No crashes except an attack by a plastic trash can blown into the road causing right headlight cluster replacement. I simply have too many cars right now and would like to find a good home for my SAAB friend of many years.
- 2002 Saab 9-5 SportCombi Linear (Posted 9/20/2025)
SOLD
Color: Hazelnut Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 170,664 Price: $1650
5-spd with very nice leather interior. Car has lived all it's life in sunny Georgia. (I'm the 2nd owner). Rust free with very good paint and very minimal body damage. A scrape on either side of front end near headlights is pretty much it. (See pics). Gray/black interior is very well preserved with no visible wear and tear. Ceramic window tint all around (except windshield). Car runs and drives very well and has a clean Carfax history with regular service by Jim Ellis Saab of Atlanta. Issues include an oil leak near front of engine (likely valve cover), sunroof sticks sometimes (lubrication?), mirrors and cruise control unresponsive, HVAC diverters need attention, one DTC (0453 fuel tank pressure sensor issue). Good brakes, decent (not great) tires. Overall the car is worthy of addressing needed issues but I need to trim the fleet and someone with a bit more Saab knowhow than I can have a very nice driver.

- 2004 Saab 9-5 Arc (Posted 9/14/2025)
SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 109,790 Price: $1900
Florida car, no rust or rot. Adult SAAB enthusiast owned and driven (I've owned multiple SAAB's of many generations, this is my second 9-5) Car was off the road most winters since coming to Vermont and is clean inside and out for it's age. New power steering hoses, new battery, BSR stainless steel cat-back exhaust and new flex pipe. Sale includes a new set of Nokian North9 snow tires. Full synthetic oil changes every 5,000 and full transmission flush at 90,000. Includes many spare parts from years of SAAB ownership (spare used DI, various sensors, those darn window rollers that always seem to break, thermostat, CV axle...) Last fall the shop I use swapped the TB to try to fix a P1230 code, but it persisted, so I retired the car. It's been sitting for months so it will need a brake job and the all-season tires on it are pretty close to the end of their useful life. The front has a rattle over bumps, I suspect is either a swaybar link or a balljoint/strut mount as the car is on original suspension.
